i must admit, i didn't take Hubert with me anywhere today. i was in a hurry this morning and nervous and in a bad mood, and i left Hubert at home on my bedside table. In the pile which i call "don't forget to take this out with you!" i know these are no real excuses, but there you have it.
On the plus (?) side, i did also leave Turtle at home. (Turtle is the duck's name.) So i can only imagine the fun conversations they had in the time i was gone.
Actually perhaps it was a good thing Hubert was not with me today, for he would have seen me in a not very good light - it has been a somewhat emotional day.
